Our platform semi-trailers are suitable for the transport of not only especially long, but also high loads. This, however, does not cause difficulties in manoeuvring with the turning radius of not more than 2 metres for a 6-axle semi-trailer.

PLF 2-axle

The PLF-series offers semi-trailers suitable to transport loads with high point mass. The deck is at the height of 1360 mm. In the 6-axle version, it may be extended to more than 20 metres. This provides wide transport capabilities and ensures the stability of the transported load.

Functionality and varsatility

Our platform semi-trailers are suitable for the transport of not only especially long, but also high loads. This, however, does not cause difficulties in manoeuvring with the turning radius of not more than 2 metres for a 6-axle semi-trailer. This way loading capabilities have no negative impact on the manoeuvrability of the semi-trailer, which provides high comfort to the user, namely the driver. To ensure transport safety, PL-series semi-trailers are equipped with:

  •  9 or 10 pairs of fixtures provided to attach the load (depending on the sub-series),
  • rows of stanchion sockets with hot-galvanised stanchions,
  • front wall with the maximum height of 2 metres, which shields the tractor against the transported load.

PLF-series semi-trailers

The PLF-series offers semi-trailers suitable to transport loads with high point mass. The deck is at the height of 1360 mm. In the 6-axle version, it may be extended to more than 20 metres. This provides wide transport capabilities and ensures the stability of the transported load.

 

PLF-series semi-trailers are used mainly to transport loads, such as:

  • prefabricated concrete units,
  • crane structures.

PLM-series semi-trailers

Versatility and reliability are the main advantages of this series. This type of semi-trailers enable the safe transport of not only very long, but also very high loads. This is allowed by the exceptionally small height of the load deck, within 1050 mm.

This type of specification provides the user with a wide range of logistic capabilities and high transport safety. The semi-trailer may be extended to nearly 20 metres, as needed. We offer 2-, 3- and 4-axle versions to choose from.

PLM-series semi-trailers are used to transport loads, such as:

  •  wind turbine segments,
  •  pipes,
  •  wind power station rotors,
  •  roof structure components,
  •  construction structural elements,
  •  bridge elements.

The entire PL-series, through its functionality and versatility, guarantees high transport efficiency with an economic profile.

In those semi-trailers, deck length is essential due to the load. Thus, it is very important to use the room under the deck, where one may find both aluminium ramp cases and a spare wheel carrier.

 

DEMARKO platform semi-trailers are divided into two series, PLM and PLF, which are suitable for appropriate load types. This allows not only selecting the most suitable semi-trailer for the needs of our Customers, but also ensures its perfect adaptation to the particular requirements of oversize transport.

  • Telescopic lip

    Hydraulically or manually controlled two-section telescopic lip with the possibility of adjusting the spacing to suit the vehicle being loaded.

  • Axial units

    On-board modules armed with axles with differentiated track for high stability. Hydraulic axle steering system providing trailers with excellent manoeuvrability while also extending tyre life.

  • Cargo decks

    Deck modules fitted with a range of brackets and fixings to securely immobilise any type of equipment during transport. Additional equipment in the form of stop wedges and skids to facilitate the loading process.

  • Modular design

    Modular construction made of high-strength steel for high rigidity in off-road conditions. Integrated recesses to accommodate high vehicles.
